SO EXCITED.

I'm getting the complete SGA series on dvd for Christmas. AHHHH!

I'm already reading Sheppard/Dex in preparation, but nothing that will spoil me too much for the show. I've seen a couple of episodes.

So if you've got nothing better to do, rec me your favorite Sheppard/Dex stories!

Sorry if all of that was ridiculously obvious to everyone else, but I had a light-bulb moment and had to share.

Say you want to get into SG-1/SGA. But there are way too many episodes. Where do you recommend a person start watching, without having to start from the very beginning? And said person is partial to slash, if that makes any difference in the viewing experience.

Also, Star Trek on Blu-ray today! I got the PINS YAY. I will wear one to work like a super nerd and be super embarrassed.

Dear Yuletide writer,

This is my first time doing Yuletide, so I hope my requests are not too hard to work with! I love all of my requests equally, so any one you pick will be cherished and loved and enjoyed. The few things I don't like:

Heavy-angst, non-con, and heavy violence/gore are hard for me to stomach. Please try to avoid these, if at all possible. Of course, that doesn't mean no violence or no angst.. just.. moderation, if it comes to that.

I'm trying to get back into the groove of things, creatively. Especially trying to write, which I haven't done in forever. There are lots of other things going on that need my attention but I really want to get ready for yuletide, so:

Give me a fandom and a short prompt, can be one or two sentences, a few words, a song, a picture. I will write a short piece of 200 words or more. The fandoms I'll write in: Supernatural (and RPS), Stargate Universe, Star Trek XI (and RPS), The Boondock Saints, Ravenous (Movie), Devil May Cry, or any other fandom I've previously written.

This is the fanart for A Hundred Days (And Counting) by hope_calaris and rei17, a Kirk/McCoy fic for the Star Trek Big Bang. The early draft I had the pleasure of reading for this story was delightful and fun and a pleasure to read. Ladies, thank you both for allowing me to provide the fanart to your big bang!

Also, I don't know many of you as well as I'd like to. Tell me things about yourself? I feel distant. Partly my own fault, as I check my flist often but don't comment as much as I should. What's your current obsession? What do you think about the JA/DH news? What are your plans today? How's life? Are you signing up for Yuletide?

So in case ya'll were sick of hearing me blab about Stargate Universe, I'm going to preface this by saying: too bad! :D

Hmm...what else? Oh yeah. Supernatural was hella awesome, the first few minutes were some of the best! Vampire Diaries - I was really starting to love Damon, too, but now? I don't know. Maybe not as much. Boo, Damon, shame on you!

Finally, having dinner with family. Chinese, authentic as you can get here in Austin. It should prove both tiring and frustrating because I know I'm going to get grilled about finding a job and what-are-you-going-to-do after graduation? Yikes.

Watching Eragon, and wow, I freaking love it. So it can be pretty cheesy, but eh, whatevs. The costume designer of this movie is a genius, btw.

Does anyone know where I can find the movie Plunkett & Macleane on dvd? It's been discontinued by manufacturer =( Amazon doesn't even have it though it's sellers do and they're charging an arm and a leg for it.

(or, if anyone knows some other means in order to watch it......)

I graduate in a month and four days. Wow. It's...beginning to really hit me, I think. Creeping up way faster than I thought. I have to go be a grown-up =(

I love fall back. Hell. Yeah.

Totally missed Halloween this year. We just hung around in the apartment all day, well mostly by myself, and watched Ravenous last night. Excellent movie. Robert Carlyle and Guy Pearce. Off-beat humor. Cannibalism. Subtext to the max. What more do you need?

Plan on watching The Tournament today for more Robert Carlyle action. I seem to be obsessed with this man. And get chinese food for lunch. Yum.

SGU Rush-centric vid is coming along, slowly but surely. I always manage to have strong beginnings to vids and then the end tapers off, because I run out of clips and motivation. Is this the case with most other vidders? I don't usually work with an outline of the entire song and what scenes I want, it's all mostly by-the-seat of my pants.

I have Paranormal Activity but now that Halloween has passed, I don't know if I want to watch it anymore lol.

Okay so maybe this post was mostly about nothing, except to declare my great love for Robert Carlyle.
